Jessica Stephens, MA, LCMHCA
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate.
Additionally, I have also served as the Center Director at Life Care Pregnancy Center for four years, where I provided leadership, coaching services, and program development in a mission-driven setting for women facing perinatal and postpartum concerns. This role informed my commitment to ethical, compassionate, and client-centered care.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy. Faith integration is thoughtfully incorporated for clients who desire it and is approached in a respectful, ethical, and clinically appropriate manner.
I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and completed my undergraduate studies at Gordon College. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA, #A22409) in North Carolina and am currently pursuing National Certified Counselor (NCC) certification. I am a member of the Licensed Clinical Counselors of North Carolina (LCCNC) and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
I approach counseling through a lens of love, compassion, and hope, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they pursue healing, growth, and restoration.
About Jessica
I believe therapy is a collaborative and compassionate partnership that offers a supportive space to explore past experiences, navigate present challenges, and move intentionally toward future goals. I am passionate about helping clients find hope, healing, and empowerment as they move forward in their lives.
I practice from a holistic, client-centered perspective, attending to the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of each individual. I strive to meet clients where they are and tailor the therapeutic process to their unique needs, values, and goals. My clinical experience includes working with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, stress, self-esteem, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
My primary clinical focus is working with women across various life stages, including prenatal and postpartum experiences, parenting concerns, and relational challenges. I also work with individuals, adolescents, and couples when their needs align with my areas of training and clinical competence. As a military spouse, I have a personal understanding of the unique stressors that can arise within military life and family systems. Our family has lived in North Carolina for the past seven years due to military service.
